From £25.00
Come along to The Makers Exchange and join Alice Branston on Saturday the 25th of April for two hours of dedicated creativity. Crochet has long been understood as a calming and restorative craft activity as well as being a practical way to make clothing and textiles. Experience this for yourself as we learn two different squares which you can repeat and combine to make bigger projects. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and more experienced crocheters.
You will learn: 'Magic circle' or slip ring, Slip stitches, Double crochet, Treble crochet, Popcorn stitch, Weaving in, Finishing and joining
You will come away from the workshop with a suitable hook to continue your project and the confidence with the above stitches and techniques to go on to create any number of hats, scarves, blankets and more. Let your imagination guide you! A portion of the proceeds go towards Erskine Veterans Activity Centre (North).
This session will run from 1pm – 3pm, all materials provided for you!
(Suitable for beginners)
Workshop spaces are limited, book early to avoid missing out.
Complimentary ticket to The Makers’ Exchange included (10am - 3.30pm)
